Web Design

Web design is the process of planning, conceptualizing, and arranging digital content to create websites. At the beginning of my career I coded sites using html, php, css, etc. to build sites. For each site I actually had to code multiple sites that corresponded with each device a user might view the site with. This meant there were approximately 6 sites that needed designed and coded for each site based off of the popular screen sizes being used with desktop, tablets and phones. Fast forward a decade and life became simpler. Responsive sites became a “thing” and clients wanted to make changes to their own site so many sites transitioned to WYSIWYG builders. WordPress became the new standard and hand coding became a thing of the past.
